What's different?

Our approach originates in the classical Āyurvedic Medical Compendia. These texts have guided the education and practice of Āyurveda for centuries in India and are still used as the main training tools for Āyurvedic Doctors. They are standard clinical resources for practice.

Based on this we developed three primary professional levels for independent and collaborative practice. This is the framework of the operating infrastructure in India and can be adapted to any location.

Our revised curriculum for these three levels is the first major update to professional Āyurveda in over 100 years. This provides an efficient, effective learning process for contemporary study and practice.

The program is a minimum of 14 months and trains students for independent and collaborative practice in holistic, sustainable healthcare.

The Svastha Āchārya level can be compared to a nurse in the western biomedical healthcare paradigm.
